Terms of Service

1. Beta Phase & Pricing Strategy

GridSite is currently in its Beta/Early Access phase. The promotional pricing offered is a reflection of the platform's ongoing development status. Users acknowledge that they are "Early Adopters" and understand that the service is provided to facilitate testing and feedback.

2. Billing & Merchant of Record

Payments and subscriptions are managed exclusively by Paddle.com. As the Merchant of Record, Paddle is responsible for billing, tax collection (VAT/GST), and payment-related support. All financial transactions are subject to Paddle’s Terms of Use.

4. Access Control & User Permissions

The Primary Account Owner is solely responsible for the management of sub-users, contractors, and staff permissions. Any data deletion, modification, or leakage caused by a user invited or authorized by the Account Owner is the exclusive responsibility of the Client. GridSite will not mediate internal disputes between project stakeholders.

5. Data Hosting & Backup Obligation

GridSite utilizes enterprise-grade infrastructure (Supabase, Vercel) to provide hosting services. However:

• Third-Party Disclaimer: We are not liable for data breaches or service interruptions caused by vulnerabilities or outages within the infrastructure of our third-party providers.
• Mandatory External Backups: GridSite is not an archiving service. Users are contractually obligated to maintain separate, independent copies of all critical project data. GridSite is not liable for data loss due to system failures or account expiration.

6. Developer Access & Data Privacy

To resolve technical bugs and optimize performance, GridSite developers may access the user database. We guarantee that such access is conducted under strict confidentiality. Your data will never be published, sold, or shared with third parties. We reserve the right to use aggregated, anonymized data to improve the platform's algorithms.

7. Feature Evolution & Tiered Pricing

GridSite reserves the right to introduce new features, advanced modules, or specialized tools that may be priced separately from the current subscription. Existing users are not entitled to future premium modules unless explicitly stated in their specific purchase plan. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features to maintain platform stability.

8. Prohibited Data & Misuse

Users are strictly forbidden from storing data that is: illegal, related to military/intelligence operations, highly sensitive medical records, or any content that violates international intellectual property laws. Any misuse will result in immediate termination without refund.
