1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account on GridSite, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and possess the legal authority to bind your organization to these terms. Use of the service for any unlawful or fraudulent activity is strictly prohibited.

2. Billing & Merchant of Record

Our payment processing is conducted by Paddle.com. Paddle is the Merchant of Record. They handle billing, tax compliance (VAT/GST), and customer service related to payments. Your subscription will automatically renew unless cancelled through your dashboard or by contacting Paddle support.

3. Engineering & Technical Liability

3.1 Assistant Tool Status: GridSite is a management assistance tool. It is NOT a substitute for professional engineering judgment. Users are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy of WBS, schedules, and financial data.

3.2 Critical Projects: GridSite is not designed for use in "High-Risk" projects where failure could result in death, environmental disaster, or major infrastructure collapse. Use in such projects is at the user's own peril.

3.3 Output Accuracy: GridSite is not liable for errors (GIGO) resulting from inaccurate data entry or the failure to professionally audit system-generated reports.

4. Data, Infrastructure & Security

  • Platform Hosting: GridSite uses Supabase and Vercel. We are not liable for outages, data leaks, or vulnerabilities originating from these third-party providers.
  • Mandatory Backup: Users MUST maintain independent, external backups. GridSite is not an archiving service and is not liable for data loss due to system failure or subscription expiration.
  • Developer Access: Our technical team may access project databases strictly for performance debugging and support. Confidentiality is guaranteed.

5. Intellectual Property

The GridSite methodology, UI/UX design, and proprietary code are the exclusive property of Wael Abdel-Jalil. Users shall not decompile, reverse engineer, or attempt to recreate the software's logic.

6. Limitation of Liability & Force Majeure

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GridSite’s total liability is limited to the **aggregate fees paid by the user during the six (6) months** prior to the claim. We are not liable for failures caused by "Force Majeure" events (e.g., global internet outages, natural disasters, or government restrictions).

7. Subscription & Future Modules

Promotional Beta pricing reflects the current feature set. GridSite reserves the right to introduce new premium modules or AI tools that may require separate subscription fees, regardless of the user’s current tier.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the developer's registered jurisdiction. Any disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved via amicable negotiation.
